Two numbers work for every trader on Arcus: the fees you pay, and the fees you earn.

Your Network, Your Fee Share

Share your link. Every trader you bring pays fees - and you earn a share of them, for as long as they keep trading. The referral tiers are three levels deep:

Refer Jane, earn on Jane. Jane refers Bob, you earn on Bob. Bob refers Carol, Carol too. The network compounds whether you're online or not.

Getting Your Code

On app.arcus.xyz, go to the Rewards tab → Click on “Referrals”, then hit Create Ref Code. Codes are 1 to 32 characters. One code per trader, no renames, and codes are first come, first served. The good ones will go fast.

Joining Under a Code

Two ways in:

1. Click someone's referral link and you'll be signed up under their code automatically, or;

2. If you already have an account, go to Rewards → Referrals, enter the code of your referrer, then hit Enter Referral Code.

One thing: you can only add a referral code early on. Once your trading volume passes a set threshold, that option closes for good. You can't add or remove your referrer after. So if you're going to use a code, do it before you start trading seriously.

Perps Fee Tiers: Your Own Fees, Falling

Perpetuals fee tiers are separate from referrals and apply to every trader. Trade more, pay less: it happens automatically as your perps rolling volume passes each threshold, whether or not you ever refer anyone.

Two details traders will care about:

1. At VIP and Max, the maker fee goes negative: a resting order that fills pays you.

2. The two programs touch at exactly one point: your fee tier sets your Level 1 referral commission rate (10% vs 15%), so the biggest traders earn the biggest referral cut.

Getting Paid

No epochs, no payout calendar. Your referral balance accrues as your network trades, and you claim whenever you like. Claimed rewards credit straight to your Arcus trading account. There's a small minimum balance before a claim goes through, which keeps payouts efficient.

Everything is tracked live on the Rewards dashboard: referred traders by level, their volume, and what you've earned.

One Rule

Referrals are permissionless. Any eligible address can refer any other eligible address. But Arcus reserves the right to adjust referral rewards on obvious self-referral, clustering schemes and/or any other prohibited activities. Build a real network; it pays better anyway.
