RWA and crypto perpetuals are moving to separate fee schedules, and the volume required to reach every fee tier is being cut in half.
Both changes take effect on Friday, October 23, 2026 - nothing changes before then.
Tier Thresholds are Halved
From October 23, every tier across the board takes half the current 30-day volume requirement to reach, compared with today.
Tier 1 starts at $2.5M instead of $5M, all the way to Tier 6 at $1.5B instead of $3B.
Fees for RWA Markets Remain Unchanged
Perpetuals on equities, commodities, and indices continue at zero maker fees (Tiers 0–4), maker rebates at Tiers 5–6, and halved taker fees - the same rates as today, reachable at half the volume requirements once the new thresholds take effect.
Fees for Crypto Markets Resume Standard Schedule
The beta discounts on crypto perpetuals end on Friday, October 23, when crypto maker and taker fees move to the standard rates below.
The halved thresholds apply here too, enabling many active traders to reach each tier at half the previous volume, partly offsetting the return to standard rates.

Tier progression itself works as it always has: tiers advance automatically on rolling 30-day volume across all perpetual markets. Crypto and RWA volume are summed together to calculate tier - the schedules above define fees by tier and market.
Why The Changes
The changes enable Arcus to deploy custom incentives in order to motivate trading activity and liquidity in emerging markets such as RWA perpetuals markets, while letting mature markets like crypto perpetuals markets return to the standard fee schedule.
The halved volume thresholds have a simpler goal: making fee tiers on Arcus more accessible for traders to climb. Every fee tier now takes half the volume on both schedules.
Spot Remains Unchanged
These changes apply only to perpetual futures. Spot Stock Token trading continues to carry zero trading fees on Arcus.*
